The Process
Select a Steer
You pick the steer, or we can pick one for you. We have steers at various stages of development. A deposit will reserve your selected animal for you. Once your steer is ready for processing, the remaining payment is due. After full payment, you own the steer.
We Raise Them
This stage typically takes 18-24 months from birth. Our cattle are raised on a small farm and are fed grass (bermuda in the warm months and rye grass in the cold months) and supplemented with grain from the local farmers’ co-op. Our cattle are hormone free.
Schedule Processing
You select a processor and book an appointment, or we can book an appointment at our processor for you. We will provide an estimate of when your steer will be ready.
The Processor
We will deliver your steer to the processor of your choice within a 50-mile radius of Commerce, Texas. The processor will let you know when your meat is ready for pick up.
